Aura Soma
Aura Soma is a colour care system, which was brought into creation by Vicky Wall in 1983 and refined ever since. Blind and in retirement, she was inspired by a recurring vision of jewel-like colours flowing their way towards her. This vision led to the creation of the colour combination bottles that have come to lie at the heart of the Aura-Soma system. These bottles are known as Equilibrium.
Her motto is, “You are the colours you choose”.
To begin an Aura Soma treatment, you are invited to choose the four colour combinations to which you are most drawn. During the hour consultation that follows you gain insight into your current situation and the larger pattern of your life story by exploring what your colour choice represents for you, what it reveals of your gifts, challenges and opportunities for growth and transformation.
Colour is a universal language understood by all people in all cultures. Your colour preferences, such as your favourite colour, the colours you like next to each other, the passing appeal certain colours have for you, are all expressions of the inner self. Equilibrium colour combinations provide a medium for the soul to express itself in a way that goes beyond language.
When your colour choices are explained it often feels like ‘coming home’.
A sense of recognition is experienced, as what you have known all along on a deeper level is expressed in words and brought into clarity.
There are currently 107 Equilibrium bottles.
The Equilibrium bottles are dual coloured combinations composed of two fractions, oil over water. Each bottle is filled with the living energies of colour, plant and cystals and combines the vibrations of the angelic, plant and mineral kingdoms in a balanced form that may be applied directly onto the body. Equilibrium is the primary product within Aura-Soma.
In addition to Equilibrium there are the Pomanders and Quintessences. These fragrant products are each composed of 49 herbs and provide protection and support for the aura while you open yourself up to the transformation process stimulated by the Equilibrium bottles. They are to be passed through the aura around the body.
